Lupit Pole Classic G2 Review

Lupit Pole Classic G2 Review

Lupit Pole is one of the leading brands in the pole dancing industry, and the Classic G2 model is their most popular option. It is a high-quality and affordable option for anyone who’s serious about pole dancing.

I have been using the Lupit Pole Classic G2 Chrome for a couple of months now at the studio and I have to say that I am very impressed. The quality of the pole is excellent and it is very sturdy. Plus, it’s not as slippery as most of the other poles!

And you know the best part? The pole will not scratch or chip away and it is 100% NICKEL FREE making it one of the few dancing poles out there that are hypoallergenic.

In this article, I’ll lay out a comprehensive review of the Lupit Pole Classic G2 so that you can decide if it’s the right choice for you.

Benefits Of The Lupit Pole Classic G2

Let’s take a look at the main features of the Lupit Pole Classic G2 and their benefits to the dancer.

classic g2 benefits

Smooth Design

The Classic G2 is really smooth and doesn’t have anything sticking out that could cut the dancer, not even the base plate. And without a base plate, the foot movements are going to be so much easier.

IMHO the Lupit Pole Classic G2 Chrome has way better grip than all the other poles I’ve ever tried. Using some lupit pole grips on the pole will give an even better grip and is the perfect combination for dancers with sweaty hands.

The chrome coating also gives the pole a smooth and sleek finish that looks great. It even glows in photos! Plus, the pole will not peel or chip away making it more durable and last longer.

You can easily extend the height of the using extensions as well and it should fit on any ceiling that’s under 10′ 9″

Nickel Free

The Lupit Classic G2 Chrome is made with what I think is an alloy that’s very high in chromium. They do not disclose it publicly however they do mention that it is 100% nickel free.

Lupit is the only pole brand that makes nickel free poles. Nickel is a common skin irritant which causes skin rashes and a massive 18% of the US is allergic to nickel

The Classic G2 is perfect for those with nickel allergies to use without worry. Say goodbye to skin rashes!

Installation And Portability

The Classic G2 is designed for a quick and easy installation without having to drill any holes. It’s ideal for anyone who wants to practice their moves at home without damaging the ceiling or floors.

And the fact that it is also multi-piece and removable makes it very convenient to set up and take down, plus it’s portable so you can take it with you wherever you go.

Spin And Static Modes

Like most dance poles out there, the lupit classic G2 can be used in both spinning and static modes which means you can use it to practice your moves no matter what your level of experience is.

Changing between the modes is super easy for the newer G2 models with the quick lock feature which is similar to X pole’s xlock. However, G2 Classic models have the standard lock system that require hex keys to change modes which is a little bothersome as hex keys are not used often in the US.

Pros And Cons Of The Lupit Pole Classic G2

Now that you are familiar with its features and some of the benefits it offers, let’s dig in deeper into the benefits and take a look at the pros and cons of this amazing pole.

ProsCons
Better Grip & No chipping away Need Hex keys
Firm and Sturdy, No shifting Small movements in static mode
Easy installation and portableRemoval is a little slower
Hypoallergenic
Smoother spin
Joints of parts curved in and No pieces sticking out

Talking pros, the chrome finish has a better grip than stainless steel and the alloy used to make the pole is nickel free and hypoallergenic. And like most other poles, it’s portable and easy to install and remove.

The pole is firm and sturdy and there is no shifting of any sort making it super safe for use. The pole also spins very smoothly, in fact much better than most of the poles out there.

Additionally the joints of each part are curved which means that it won’t lip and stick out with pressure and create a cutting hazard.

There aren’t many cons to the pole but the most annoying aspect of the Classic series is the need for different hex keys for installing and removing the pole, and when changing between spinning modes which makes the process a bit slower. It’s also an additional purchase and hex keys might be hard to find depending on where you live.

I also notice a small amount of movement when using the static mode. It’s not continuous and just moves about a centimeter and stops, but it pretty much hampers the feel. However this is common for most home dancing poles and you’ll eventually get used to it.

Verdict

Overall, I’m very impressed with the Lupit Pole Classic G2 and I would definitely recommend it and I’ve featured it in my best dance poles for home use list. It’s really well made, it’s easy to set up and the design is simply amazing. And it’s great that it’s portable and removable and I’m sure most of you would love it.

The only thing I am upset about is the hex key part, other than that I don’t think there is any reason to not give it a try!
